As part of your daily work, you would have to:

Be responsible for leading the Canada Truck team that sells Lion’s Class 5-8 Truck Line and other products and developing sales strategies to meet and exceed the company's objectives. Also, the Sales Director will be responsible for building and managing profitable business relationships with various fleets and government agencies.

  • Develop and implement various sales strategies for Lion’s full line of trucks with a focus in Quebec.
  • Influence fleet decision-makers to drive sales of Lion trucks and products.
  • Establish a reliable and growing network of clients and build a team to support them.
  • Target municipalities and private fleets who want to electrify their vehicles while building upfit partnerships to serve vocational markets for Lion products.
  • Develop business relationships through various tenders, referrals, industry stakeholders, events, conventions, trade shows and others.
  • Supervise Truck Canada sales team and ensure compliance with the company's CRM and processes.
  • Sell the Lion range of trucks to different fleets.
  • Create valuable contracts during pilot projects and mass deployments.
  • Identify key personnel within different previously targeted fleets.
  • Exceed the company's sales projections.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • 10 years of relevant experience in heavy truck sales;
  • 5 years of experience as a sales team Manager;
  • University degree or equivalent;
  • Training in relational sales;
  • Must be bilingual (French and English);
  • Sales experience with government fleets, municipalities and/or private organizations;
  • Significant experience in negotiation;
  • Experience in transport electrification is an asset;
  • Knowledge of MS Office suite;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license;
  • Valid Passport.
